To My Wonderful and Loyal Fans,
This letter is to let you all know what the past year has been like
for me and what the
future holds. Although I have been doing several concerts many to
raise money for AIDS
research I have cut back a bit so that I can continue working on my
book, lining up
perspective investors for my JUDY GARLAND ON BROADWAY show and putting
material
together for a new CD. Projects that I can't concentrate on when I'm
working on the road.
As you know last year ended and this year started off with the wrath
of mother nature in
ASIA. It continued throughout the year and it looks like this year
will also come to a
close with all kinds of chaos. One wonders what to expect next in a
world filled with un-
rest, war and terrorism. I know I do. Those of us who have survived
the disasters over the
past year must be forever grateful and do what we can for those who
haven't been so
lucky. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm preaching, but besides the
so called glitz and
glam of showbiz we still are all just human beings. I believe that we
were put on this
earth to help one another in any and every way we can.
I use the gifts that GOD gave me to hopefully bring joy to those who
have stress and
turmoil in their lives. I like to think that I take them on a magical
trip to another place for
a couple of hours where they can lose themselves in the music and the
reality that I
create on stage.
My website will continue to be updated. In fact there are some new
photos that
have been recently added. There will be more. I'll also keep you
updated on any new
concert dates that come up.
You might also hold a good thought and say a prayer for my nephew
Matthew, who
is 23 and in the Marines an who is in the thick of the battle on the
Syrian border fighting
for his country.
Thank you for allowing me to speak to you through this e-mail and for
your loyal
support over the many years that I've been given to work my magic for
you.
I wish you all a very safe and happy holiday season. Let us pray for
peace and the
well being of each and every one of us.
GOD BLESS YOU ONE AND ALL,
Jim Bailey
